Mediterranean street food on Bramcote Lane

Wollaton was the first ZHUG kitchen. It sits among the shops on Bramcote Lane rather than in the middle of town, so it serves the neighbourhood as much for collection as for eating in.

The menu is the same at both kitchens: mezze, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern pitas, meal bowls and sides, alongside the green chilli sauce the business takes its name from. Everything is halal. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options run right across the ZHUG menu rather than sitting in a corner of it.

We are on the stretch of Bramcote Lane between Wollaton Vale and Trowell Road, with parking on the street outside and more on the side roads. Buses along Bramcote Lane and Wollaton Road both stop within a couple of minutes' walk.
